30 problems in 30 languages

The competition is organised by Science-Smart School of Sofia in partnership with "Olimpmath" EOOD (rep. of The Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians).

Participants compete in teams of 3 to 6 students, divided into three age categories:

• Grades 6–7
• Grades 8–9
• Grades 10–12

Team may choose to include participants of different ages. In this case the team competes in the category of its oldest participant.

Each team solves 30 multiple-choice problems within 150 minutes. Equipment, devices and/or literature are not allowed.

Each problem is in a different language. Teams must choose only one of the five given answers. The answers and even the numbering alone can also carry information about the problem's meaning.

Correct answers earn 5 points, while unanswered questions earn 1 point.

In addition, each team receives a table of participating languages, each written in their own language. Teams must identify which problem is written in which language and provide the name of the language in Bulgarian. Each correct identification earns 1 point.

The results will be published on the tournament’s official website. Contestations are not accepted.
