SMART Science combines the best practices of the Bulgarian and British education systems in a safe and stimulating learner-centred environment tailored to assist and encourage proactive, confident and respectful students who are keen on science, core disciplines and art as well as to prepare them for the challenges in the global perspective.

We Grew Up
SMART Science is being created as a follow-up to Izzi Science's concept of providing adequate high-school education for inquisitive students. Our understanding is that education should not only result in excellent academic outcomes but also build students’ confidence and readiness to resiliently meet any challenges in life. We believe it is vitally important for young people to be creative and successful in whatever career path they have chosen.
At SMART Science we provide quality high-school education; build and maintain strong relationships within the community. The heuristic (question-based classroom) approach, proven to be successful at Izzi Start Day-care Centre and Izzi Science for Kids, is also relevant for our high school. It is responsive to our students’ needs, ensuring that all their questions are answered in a safe and stimulating environment. Our students of all ages receive daily support from the entire team for their academic preparation as well as social and emotional wellbeing.
Like the academic curriculum in grades 1 to 7, the Upper Secondary Curriculum is balanced, including art and sports activities, developing students’ diverse interests, and promoting their healthy growth.
