ADMISSION – Izzi Start and Preschool

For admission in:

2024/2025 School Year

  • for Izzi Start - children born in 2020
  • for Preschool Group 1 - children born in 2019

2025/2026 School Year

  • for Izzi Start - children born in 2021 or 2023
  • Preschool Group 1 - for children born in 2020

Izzi Start's program is bilingual (following the best practices of MON and Cambridge) and thus succession in age groups is a vital part of our educational philosophy. Therefore applicants can join the programme in the following age groups:

  • Izzi Start Nursery group: children turning 2 years in the calendar year of application;
  • Izzi Start Daycare center: children turning 4 years;
  • for PUK1 (Preschool Group 1): children turning 5 years.

There is no admission process directly to PUK2 and/or 1st Grade.

The application process
for Izzi Start and Preschool Groups is as follows:
  1. Parents submit the Application form online. Please select a preferable date for a trial day.
  2. The school sends an invitation for a trial day (free of charge). The kids join the classes of the respective age groups during the trial days.
  3. Applicants’ parents have a meeting with a school representative.
  4. After admission is confirmed by a school representative, parents receive an enrolment package, fill in, sign, and submit the enrolment papers to the school.

  • Izzi Start: good communication skills; active participation in the class activities; good behaviour; an adequate level of literacy for the respective age.
  • Preschool: good communication skills; active participation in the class activities; good behaviour; an adequate level of literacy for the respective age, interest in Science.

  • Your child was born in 2019 and is ready to join Preschool Group 1 in the current school year (2024-2025)
  • Your child was born in 2020 and is ready to join Preschool Group 1 in September 2025
  • Your child was born in 2021 and is ready to join Izzi Start in June 2025
  • Your child was born in 2023 and is ready to join our Nursery in June 2025
  • Your child is born in 2024 and will be ready to join our Nursery in June 2026

Tuition Fee
  • Izzi Start
    • September - June: 13 000 BGN Annual Fee payable in equal monthly installments of 1 300 BGN.
    • The tuition fee covers all educational resources, food and water, accident insurance.
    • Additional expense: transport.
  • Preschool
    • September - June: 13 000 BGN Annual Fee payable in equal monthly installments of 1 300 BGN.
    • The tuition fee covers all educational resources, food and water, accident insurance.
    • Extracurricular activities: 200 BGN/month.
    • Additional expenses: transport, after-school activities.
